Liverpool are interested in Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak, according to El Gol Digital.

The report states that Liverpool and Arsenal are going to battle it out for the services of the Slovenian, but Diego Simeone is keen to keep hold of his goalkeeper.

Despite Simeone’s wishes, he understands that there is a chance he could lose his prized asset and is lining up replacements.

Oblak’s release clause is rumoured to be around £80-90million, which therefore means the Reds have no choice but to spend big if they want to get his services for next season.
