Liverpool will have to pay at least £80million if they want to sign Marco Asensio this summer, according to TeamTalk.
The Real Madrid playmaker has been linked with a move to Anfield for some time, and has now been deemed surplus to requirements by manager Zinedine Zidane.
The La Liga giants decided as far back as February that the 23-year-old would be available for transfer this summer.
At the time, Liverpool were told the player would be available for around £131million.
But according to recent reports, that figure has dropped dramatically and the Reds could be interested in bringing Asensio to Anfield.
With the incomings of Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic and Rodrygo, Madrid have already splashed almost £300million this summer and need to make room in their squad.
Jurgen Klopp intends to have a quieter summer transfer window in 2019 but could be persuaded to move for the right player if the price is acceptable.
