Gareth Bale has been linked with a move to either Liverpool or Tottenham after falling further out of favour at Real Madrid, according to reports.

Bale and manager Zinedine Zidane are reportedly no longer on speaking terms after a major fallout following Zidane’s decision to bench the winger on the final day of the La Liga season.

Madrid are preparing to induct a fresh batch of Galacticos this summer, with Eden Hazard set to lead the way, and Bale is not in Zidane’s long-term plans.

The French manager will look to sell the Welshman to help raise funds for his new signings, and Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda has claimed that the Premier League is the most likely destination for the 29-year-old.

“Bale has spent the day playing golf at La Moraleja,” said Inda.

“And it is very likely that he will reach either of the two finalists in the Champions League, Tottenham or Liverpool.

“That operation would be accompanied by Eriksen plus a quantity of money.”

Bale may fancy a move back to his former club, with Eriksen going the other way to sweeten the deal for Madrid.

Whether or not Jurgen Klopp would be prepared to spend big on Bale is another question, with his attacking options already among the best in the world.
