Liverpool are preparing a transfer move for Lille’s Nicolas Pepe, according to reports.
The 23-year-old forward has notched 19 goals and 13 assists in 32 league appearances this season.
As a result, Lille have valued him at £70million in a bid to ward off potential suitors.
That hasn’t dissuaded a host of other clubs from expressing interest in signing him, however.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are all keen on securing his services for next season, with a transfer tussle set to ensue.
Jurgen Klopp will be in the market for a new striker with Daniel Sturridge set to leave at the end of the season and Divock Origi’s long-term future still in doubt.
