Fiorentina are not prepared to pay Liverpool’s £16m asking price for Lazar Markovic, but Connor Randall and Sheyi Ojo are close to leaving the club on loan, report the Liverpool Echo.
Connor Randall is set to join Hearts for the season. The 21-year-old is said to be in advanced talks to join the Scottish side for the 2017/18 campaign, with the Reds already well stocked in the full back areas.
Jürgen Klopp believes Sheyi Ojo will benefit from a season on loan in the Championship. Derby County, Aston Villa, Middlesbrough and Fulham have all agreed terms with Liverpool and it is now down to the winger to choose his destination for next season.
Ojo has not been part of either of the first team trips to Hong Kong and Germany this summer and is expected to complete a loan move elsehwhere very soon.
The Liverpool Echo also report that, despite having held talks with Fiorentina this week, Serbian winger Lazar Markovic is unlikely to be moving to Florence in the near future, with the Italian side currently unwilling to match Liverpool’s £16m asking price. Leicester City and Watford have also made tentative enquiries.
According to Mario Aquilina on Twitter, despite reports to the contrary, winger Lazar Markovic is unlikely to be making a move to Italian giants Fiorentina this summer.
The Serbian winger, who has had a less than successful time on Merseyside, was thought to be making a move to Italy this summer for a fee in the £16m region, but this has been deemed unlikely due to Fiorentina already having 2 non-EU arrivals this summer.
Fiorentina have already signed Vitor Hugo from Brazil, and centre back Nikola Milenkovic this summer, reaching their quota of two non-EU players in their squad, which would impact any move for Markovic.
Despite reports, #LFC Markovic is highly unlikely to go to Fiorentina as they already have 2 non-EU players (Milenkovic and Hugo).

As reported previously, Markovic has admirers in England with Watford and Hull both interested in his services. Markovic spent half of last season on loan at Hull, under new Watford manager Marco Silva. With Fiorentina seemingly out of the equation, it remains to be seen whether either English club will be looking to step up their interest in the 23 year old Serbian.
Markovic, who joined Liverpool in the summer of 2014, has made only 19 appearances for the club, scoring 2 goals. He has been on loan 3 times since his arrival, most recently at newly relegated Hull City. Liverpool are looking for around £16m to part with him.
Jurgen Klopp has recently confirmed that Markovic has no future at Liverpool, and are actively looking to move him on for the good of his career.
Klopp on Markovic: "With Lazar, it’s no secret that if he finds a club then we will negotiate. It was like this last year too."
