TalkSPORT claim that Liverpool are lining up a a £20million bid for goalkeeper Joe Hart
It is rumoured that goalkeeper Joe Hart could making his return to the Premier League after his exile from Manchester City in Italy. Hart has spent this season on loan at Torino, as it was apparent the Englishman didn’t feature in Pep Guardiola’s plans when the City boss brought in Claudio Bravo. However, Bravo has failed to impress Guardiola enough this season to trust the Chilean and Bravo has had to share the No.1 sport with Willy Caballero. With City’s goalkeeper situation seemingly unstable Hart could return to the Etihad next season, however, it is reported that Jürgen Klopp is preparing a move to grab the keeper.
Both Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius have proved they’re not the most reliable keepers in the Premier League at times this season, and the Liverpool boss could be looking to bring in a new face to the squad this summer. The England No.1 has attracted the attention of a trio of top Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United with his impressive performances at Torino throughout this season. Hart has made almost 350 appearances for City since his arrival in 2006 and played a vital role in their title wins in 2011-2012 and 2013-2014 along with their FA Cup win in 2011. With this experience, Hart could be effective in helping Liverpool challenge for the title next season.
However, Liverpool have been keen to put the recent reports to rest and have been adamant that the rumour is “completely fictitious”. Yet, a move from Hart to Liverpool could be one to watch for as the start of transfer window nears.
